I am an ecologist interested in understanding how biodiversity is shaped across biological and spatial scales. My work combines large-scale ecological datasets, quantitative methods, and imaging to study biodiversity from individuals to populations and communities. I have worked with field observations, museum specimens, and long-term ecological datasets, using diverse analytical tools to investigate ecological patterns and develop creative approaches to testing hypotheses. Across my work, I am particularly interested in finding new ways to ask and answer questions about biodiversity and in connecting broad-scale ecological patterns with variation at finer biological scales.
